I think I'd like to line the outside of the venue with white pumpkins. It's pretty there, but the area around the entrance and down the sidewalk need some sprucing up. I mean, it's where we'll make our first appearances and it should be lovely. I was thinking we could pull out the stems on the tiny ones and fill them with tea light candles.

these are definitely available, though by no means abundant, in new england. what's their status in the south?
ReplyDeleteThey are everywhere ! And they are relatively cheap. They start showing up around late September, and really fill grocery stores and pumpkin patches round mid October. My mother says they can also be easily painted, and she also suggested painting pine cones. How about white pumpkins and silver glittery pine cones as the outdoor decor ?
ReplyDeleteEvery time I see one of these white pumpkins I wonder if that's what my bare ass looks like.
