I love the dark purple fabric with the black design, just not for your dress. The third fabric is really interesting. The more I look at it the more I like it. Is it silk? I also like the color of the 4th fabric.
I think you should go with one of the light purple fabrics. When you first told me you were getting married you described the dress as being that color. Go with your heart!
the toile i think is too much for a dress, but might be nice for a table setting or some such thing. but then again, it has a distinctly french feel, which doesn't seem to be what you're going for (w/ victorian vaudeville, i mean).
i like the last color, the dusty rose (even though that sounds like a stripper name, i think it accurately describes this color) & i think it would look great against your skin. it would also look great with whatever accessories you decide to do. a bright purple wears you. you don't wear it. and it's your day, after all ;)
I think I'm torn between the third and fourth. The toile is awesome, however it's far too dark for this purpose. The third is super cool, but the fourth may well fit my needs the best. Plus, it will be closely worn against cream colored satin and lace.

ReplyDeleteThis doesn't need it's own post, but I found some cute fabrics using Etsy's color find tool.
