I have found a woman I really really like, and I'm almost positive I'm going to commission her to make my dress. I'm thinking a corset very similar to this:

If you don't go with the bird fabric as a main fabric you could consider lining your bolero (if you decide to wear one and your dress maker can make one for you) with this fabric. That would be such a fun, cute detail! It's such great fabric!
